For the best results it is recommended that our Decorative Landscape Bark is layered at 4″ deep (10cm). This will help suppress weeds and provide a decorative finish. Then watered with a watering can, which will bring out the natural fiber of the bark, washing away any fine particles on the surface.

Please note, many of our Landscaper customers use our Prime Bark Nuggets as a top layer on top of a more economical product such as decorative landscape bark mulch. This can save a lot of money, particularly or large projects.

Whereas unlikely, it is not beyond the realms of possibility that foreign matter such as metal, glass, and plastic could be found in mulches, so we cannot guarantee the complete absence of such materials. We recommend raking over the mulch, once laid to check. As with all gardening duties, we recommend wearing gloves when laying mulch.
